Marco Cattaneo, was appointed Technical Coordinator for DeLaval South-Europe, Middle-East and North-Africa in October 2016.
He is currently responsible for DeLaval technical support in this area providing DeLaval dealers with technical training and supporting his colleagues in small and big project design.
Marco started his professional activity in the milking machinery sector, analysing and researching milking solutions to improve comfort, efficiency and capacity in milking systems.
From 1995 to 2003, Marco Cattaneo worked as researcher on Livestock Mechanization and Automation at the University of Milan within the Agricultural and Food Sciences Faculty and for Veterinary Medicine Faculty.
During his working period at University, Marco developed a wide experience in milking machine testing and dairy farm automation.
Marco is also a frequent speaker in seminars on Dairy farming design & planning, Milking / Feeding automation, and dairy farm management.
